Article 1
National Currency of Links Land
Preamble
To establish, regulate, and protect the monetary system of the Constitutional Monarchy of Links Land, this Act formalizes the national currency, defines its denominations, empowers the issuing authority, and safeguards the economic integrity of the realm. This law shall ensure stability, trust, and sovereign control over the financial instruments and value systems within the nation.
Section A: Official Title and Symbol
The official currency of Links Land shall be known as the Links Landic
Dime, symbolized as Đ.
Informally, citizens may refer to denominations using customary terms, such as "fivent" for Đ5.
Section B: Legal Tender
The Links Landic Dime shall be the sole legal tender for all debts, taxes, and payments within the territory of Links Land.
No other currency shall be accepted in official transactions unless authorized by the Ministry of Global Stability.
Article 2
Currency Subdivision and Units
Section A: Subunit Definition
One Links Landic Dime (Đ1) shall be divided into 100 units known as Tents.
Section B: Denominations
Recognized banknotes shall include: Đ5, Đ10, Đ50, and Đ100.
Recognized coins shall include: Đ0.01 (1 Tent), Đ0.05 (5 Tents), Đ0.10 (10 Tents), Đ0.25 (25 Tents), Đ0.50 (50 Tents), and Đ1.
Article 3
Currency Design and Appearance
Section A: Banknote Design
All banknotes shall feature:

A stylized triangle symbol in the center.

Distinct colors by denomination:

Đ50: Red

Đ100: Gold and Blue
Section B: Coin Design
Coins shall bear:

Edge text featuring the phrase: "Stability, Unity, Sovereignty."
Section C: Commemorative Editions
The Ministry of Global Stability may issue commemorative banknotes or coins with special designs, but they must retain standard value and security features.
Article 4
Currency Management and Issuance
Section A: Issuing Authority
The Ministry of Global Stability shall have sole authority to:

Issue, regulate, and retire all banknotes and coins.

Control money supply through monetary policy.

Adjust interest rates and intervene in currency markets to maintain economic stability.
Section B: Printing and Minting
All currency shall be printed and minted in secured, government-controlled facilities within Links Land.
Each issuance must be authorized by the Minister of Global Stability and recorded in the National Financial Register.
Section C: Currency Stability Model
The value of the Links Landic Dime shall operate under a Managed Float Monetary System, wherein the Ministry may intervene in financial markets to maintain currency value, inflation control, and domestic price stability.
Article 5
Anti-Counterfeiting and Security
Section A: Security Features
All banknotes and coins shall incorporate state-of-the-art anti-counterfeit technologies, including:

Microtext,

UV inks,
Embedded watermarks.
Section B: Criminal Offenses
The following shall constitute criminal offenses:

The production, possession, or distribution of counterfeit Links Landic currency.

The unlawful alteration or defacement of legal tender.

Attempts to replicate or mimic currency design without authorization.
Section C: Penalties
Penalties for counterfeiting shall include:

A fine of up to Đ500,000,

Imprisonment up to 15 years,

Asset seizure upon conviction.
Article 6
Public Confidence and Financial Integrity
Section A: Transparency Requirements
The Ministry of Global Stability shall publish an annual report detailing:

Total money supply in circulation,

Inflation targets and trends,
-
Economic performance in relation to the Đime.
Section B: Financial Education
National financial literacy programs shall be coordinated in schools and public institutions to promote responsible use and understanding of the currency system.
Article C
Constitutional Alignment
Section C.1:
This Act is enacted in accordance with:
Article 1:
Recognizing the sovereignty and indivisibility of Links Land;
Article 13:
Granting Parliament authority to regulate national economic and financial matters;
Article 14:
Empowering an impartial and independent regulatory framework through executive offices;
Article 16:
Upholding every citizen's right to participate fairly in the national economy.
Section C.2:
All previous laws, practices, or external instruments that contradict this Act shall be deemed null and void.
Section C.3:
This Act shall come into force immediately upon publication in the National Gazette and shall be known formally as the Currency and Monetary Standards Act 2025 (CMS).
