Online Safety and Digital Services Act 2025 (OSDS)

Article 1

Platform Obligations

Preamble:

To regulate digital platforms, combat cybercrime, and protect users' rights online, per Chapter 6, Article 16(3) of the Constitution ("Right to privacy and expression").

Section 1A -- Content Moderation

(a) Social media companies must remove illegal content (e.g., hate speech, CSAM) within 48 hours of reporting.

(b) Failure to comply results in fines up to 500,000 Links Landic Dimes per violation.

Section 1B -- Data Privacy for Minors

(a) Collecting data from users under 16 requires parental consent.

(b) Breaches involving minors' data trigger fines up to 1 million Links Landic Dimes.

Cybercrime Prevention

Section 2A -- Cyberbullying

(a) Harassment, doxxing, or threats online are punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment.

(b) Schools must adopt anti-cyberbullying policies.

Section 2B -- Fraud and Hacking

(a) Unauthorized access to systems or data theft carries penalties up to 10 years imprisonment.
