Article 5: Anti-Counterfeiting and Security​

Section A: Security Features​

All banknotes and coins shall incorporate state-of-the-art anti-counterfeit technologies, including:

  • Holographic threads,

  • Microtext,

  • UV inks,

Embedded watermarks.

Section B: Criminal Offenses​

The following shall constitute criminal offenses:

  • The production, possession, or distribution of counterfeit Links Landic currency.

  • The unlawful alteration or defacement of legal tender.

  • Attempts to replicate or mimic currency design without authorization.

Section C: Penalties​

Penalties for counterfeiting shall include:

  • A fine of up to Đ500,000,

  • Imprisonment up to 15 years,

  • Asset seizure upon conviction.
