Article 8: Mandatory Loyalty Oaths
Section 8A: General Provisions
All individuals holding public office, military commissions, or critical civil service positions must swear or affirm the applicable loyalty oath below before assuming duties.
Refusal to take the oath results in immediate disqualification from office/service.
False statements during the oath constitute perjury, punishable under Title 15 (Penal Code).
Oath for Elected & Appointed Government Officials
(President, Ministers, Legislators, County Executives)
"I, [Full Name], solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will uphold the Constitution of Links Land and faithfully discharge my duties as [Office]. I pledge to defend the nation's sovereignty, democratic institutions, and territorial integrity against all threats, foreign or domestic. I will report any acts of treason, subversion, or attempts to overthrow the lawful government without delay. This I declare under penalty of law.
Oath for Military & Security Personnel
(Armed Forces, Intelligence, Police)
"I, [Full Name], swear (or affirm) unyielding loyalty to the Constitutional Monarchy of Links Land. I will obey lawful orders, protect the state from insurrection or foreign interference, and never engage in or conceal acts of mutiny, espionage, or collusion with hostile entities. I understand that violation of this oath subjects me to prosecution under the National Security and Loyalty Act."
Oath for Civil Servants & Public Employees
(Administrators, Judges, Public Utilities)
"I, [Full Name], swear (or affirm) that I will perform my duties with integrity and allegiance to Links Land. I renounce all foreign allegiances that conflict with my service, and I will report any threats to national security or constitutional governance to the National Security Committee. This oath binds me for the duration of my service."
Section 8B: Administration & Enforcement
Oaths must be administered by:
Constitutional Court justices (for senior officials).
Anti-Corruption Bureau officers (for civil servants).
Military commandants (for security personnel).
Signed oaths are archived with the National Security Committee and subject to audit.
Section 8C: Penalties for Violation
Breach of oath is grounds for:
Immediate dismissal.
Lifetime disqualification from public office.
Criminal charges under Article 4 (Treason/Subversion).
