Article 1

Preamble:

To guarantee equality, dignity, and freedom from discrimination for all individuals in Links Land, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, or cultural background, in accordance with Chapter 6, Article 16(1) of the Constitution ("Right to equality before the law").

Article 1: Definitions

Section 1A -- Protected Characteristics

(a) Includes sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, and intersex status.

(b) "Gender identity" encompasses non-binary, transgender, and gender-nonconforming identities.

Section 1B -- Prohibited Conduct

(a) Discrimination, harassment, vilification, or incitement to hatred based on protected characteristics.
